As a Data Engineer at Vi Transform, you will play a pivotal role in our data infrastructure, ensuring the efficient flow of information and enabling strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to facilitate seamless data flow and transformation.
  • Utilize your expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Harness the power of Python and JavaScript to create effective data engineering solutions.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies for data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Implement and maintain data-related tools and technologies such as Google BigQuery, Airbyte, Snowflake, and dbt.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are met throughout all processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in creating and managing data pipelines in a complex environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Python and JavaScript for data processing and automation.
  • Familiarity with Google BigQuery, Airbyte, Snowflake, and dbt, demonstrating the ability to leverage these technologies effectively.
  • A solid understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
