We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our growing team and help create some amazing digital user experiences and user interfaces. This person will be responsible for the user experience, conceptualizing ideas for testing, managing design systems, pushing the user interface design-forward and creating highly functional prototypes for some of the leading fitness industry apps. Your vision, ideas and passionate work will reach millions of fitness, health, and wellness-minded users each month.

Your decisions and the foundational design principles you establish for both Vi Transform’s unique brand and various other top industry players will have a huge impact. This position reports to the Creative Director of Vi Transform and will also work closely with our clients’ product, design, and dev teams.
Responsibilities
- Take ideas and concepts and translate them into world-class designs primarily for iOS and Android mobile products and secondarily for web that effectively meet the needs of our internal team, our partners and most of all the customers.
- Starting at an objective level with problems or ideas and independently translating business requirements into real solutions and ideas.
- Contributing to design development throughout the entire lifecycle, from low-fidelity initial explorations for more complex problems through to design deliverables.
- Develop visual design prototypes ranging from static comps to interactive mock-ups
- Staying up to date with UI/UX trends, generative AI tools as they apply to the role, knowing when to consider existing solutions and when to push for creativity that challenges established thinking to discover new ways of solving a problem.
- Effective at communicating design rationale effectively to key stakeholders
- Deep understanding of platform and device requirements such as form factors, accessibility, screen resolutions, pixel density and aspect ratios
- Define a visual language that is both consistent with an existing brand as well as working within those guidelines to create fresh and unique approaches that haven’t been considered.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with demonstrated expert-level knowledge in mobile platforms and have been a part of at least two mobile apps released to the iOS or Android storefront.
- Ability to share a Figma design file of screens for at least two (2) separate projects that you’ve worked on with a consumer-oriented (no B2B) focus.
- An outstanding portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative mobile interface design solutions for native mobile app and web applications.
- Excellent visual design skills; attention to detail and a demonstrated mastery of typography, color, composition, and layout
- Strong experience working with Figma, Adobe, design systems and leveraging existing community assets when appropriate
- Resourceful and independent with excellent follow-through skills when given communication challenges and how to approach/solve them
- Some experience with the agile design and development process
- Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions as well as knowing when to listen and consider alternatives
- In-depth familiarity with the latest trends in mobile app user experience.
